The Devil Knocked

Knock knock—

Who’s there?
I bet it’s Santa with my chocolate éclair.

Knock knock—

Wait, I am almost there.
Santa, use the chimney, I do not care.

Knock knock—

Ya ALLAH my patience is breaking.

Hey Santa!!

why are You knocking instead of sneaking?
Are you really spying, without my knowing.
At least send a memo so I am behaving
Before creeping through the 5g network celling.

Knock knock—

I said I will be there.
Two more seconds
Will not change the hemisphere.

Knock knock—

I am done playing this game, I am the main player.
Time is of the essence, I have the upper hand here.

Finally,

I opened the door,
I see eyes glowing like red spores.
Santa, why are You angry like an ogre?
Why do You have horns, like ancient Moloch?

That’s right-

I must be dreaming.
I can hear myself snoring.

But wait—

I cannot make this dream stop.
What happened inside my mental slot?
They seem to plan a vicious plot.

Everything is spinning out of my bodily lot,
Even though all my thoughts are blocked. I have a feeling…
The devil is still knocking.
